10 The result: the MBS methodology Section ‘M’ – MANAGEMENT of hotel fire safety: –Fire safety register –Emergency Response Plan –Staff fire safety training (frequency/extent/recordings, etc.) –Fire evacuation drill (format and frequency) –Regular management checks/ routine maintenance and inspection of systems and equipments –Fire risk assessments II. 11 The result: the MBS methodology Section ‘B’ – BUILDING: –Design and construction must comply with the national/local standards –Design objectives and criteria to be achieved –No prescriptive requirements: set of advices and best practices –A thorough Risk Assessment will identify any deficiencies –Prioritise deficiencies and put into place a plan of remedial action.
