Welcome!!! Back to School Night Letters… Please take a minute to read your child’s letter to you! If possible, please write a note to your child and leave the letter in or on his/her desk. (Paper and pens are located on the counter. Please feel free to decorate with stickers if you want! Your child will love it!) We will begin shortly!

November Conferences and Distribution List On the back table, please sign up for a November Conference slot. We will email the list as we get closer to November! Also on the back table, please check your phone number and email on the Distribution List. If they are correct, please initial by your child’s name.

Ericom – The “H” Drive Each student has his/her OWN “H-drive” on the Council Rock Web Server. This is a secured storage space provided by the district. Allows students to save their work on any computer in the school and access it from any other computer in our school or at home. You may set up your child’s “H-drive” through the internet on your home computer so your child may work on assignments in school and at home. Follow the steps on the school webpage to set up your child’s “H-Drive”.

Consequences Per Marking Period 1 check = 10 minutes of recess 2 checks = 20 minutes of recess 3 checks = 30 minutes of recess and contact home 4 checks = Losing a special privilege (Buddy Class, Assembly, etc.) 5 checks = Office write-up

Homework Policy Students should expect to have 50 minutes of homework per night Test Folder Helpful Homework Success Tips Missed or Incomplete Assignments Parents will be contacted via letter when an assignment is missing in reading/writing/math. A follow up email will occur if the letter is not returned. Mrs. Lawall and Mrs. Benzio will contact via email for social studies and science. The child will usually make up the assignment during recess. If it homework becomes a problem, special activities could be affected. Report card grades will be affected.
