Background The main goal for each SAE team is to build a low cost vehicle that could be mass produced for the public that could be used on the track. Frame & Suspension Chassis is complete and off the jig Engine mounting in progress A few parts for suspension need to be fabricated Front impact attenuator in position Waiting on anti-intrusion plate to be fabricated

Body Team (Aero and Seat) Created a 1:4 scale model of the frame. Plan to use 3-D printer to print aerodynamic components for wind tunnel testing in Kaufman Wind Tunnel Carbon Fiber/Corecell Foam Seat Construction

Pedals & Controls Materials for pedal assembly ordered In progress of fabrication now Shifter will be handheld utilizing Bowden cables This is in early stage of design Radiator will come from the shop Mounts are needed to be welded on the chassis

Engine Made major progress on both engines First engine that didn’t run is now running reliably They were able to get a flame last week Second engine is being converted to be compatible with an ECU This is a modification to meet the rules This also gives the team more control of the engine
