Celebrating 5 Years of Service Formed in 2010 to provide members with professional development surrounding issues of importance in campus recreation and intercollegiate athletics

Past CRA Initiatives Serve as a resource to address policy issues TFRA Thought Paper on NCAA Proposal addressed impact of eliminating non-scholastic basketball camps from campus facilities resulting in significant loss of revenue to some institutions (Paper is available on our website) Provide professional development opportunities Convention institute to address assessment in intercollegiate athletics Collaborated with NIRSA to offer a webinar on campus recreation and student development Resource for individuals outside of athletic departments and campus recreation departments to know more about student development issues Resource for individuals inside athletic department and campus recreation departments to increase knowledge on implications for student development Promote Research and Scholarship NCAA Data Blitz to showcase scholarly work by association members to NCAA Research Department and Headquarters Staff Producing edited volume on the intersection of intercollegiate athletics and college student affairs Recognize individuals for their accomplishments in the field and support our members’ scholarly and professional pursuits
