Aims of workshop The aims and goals of this workshop are to not only discuss and debate Web 2.0-based services, but also to see their purpose, usefulness, and what will happen to them in the future! Each day their will be a bunch of talks, from a range of speakers, that will help us look at the types of services being used, we can have views/opinions about them, and assess what will happen to them in the future. It will be also be interesting to see the emerging services that are being developed and whether Web 2.0 becomes Web 3.0! 3rd Nov 2009

Aims of workshop The Web 2.0 theme includes – services, users- engagement/views and applications. Part of the Web 2.0 theme is related to creating a book that includes technological aspects and essays that describe, discuss and debate the various area that are related to the theme. From all the contributors of the theme, we would be very keen to gather and published “unbias” views and opinions about areas discussed and presented at the workshops. I am in contact with “Tim O'Reilly” and looking to see if we can get a book published under O'Reilly. 3rd Nov 2009
