MICROORGANISM ARE HARMFUL….. Make you sick and cause diseases Destroys cells, can be deadly Parasitic- live on other organisms and cause harm Harmful microorganisms can be found in rotten or undercooked food.

Protection from Microorganisms… Antibiotics- treat bacterial infections Food safety-pasteurization FDA-controlled by the government Practice good handwashing
