Responsibilities included: entering and writing of sales orders from clients as sold through account executives into a custom traffic based software called IBS which was created specifically for CBS Radio integrating programming/advertising and “Live” broadcast radio. Sales assistants were responsible for routing written contracts for signatures per corporate regulations, entering and maintaining :10, :15, :30 and :60 second commercials according to daypart and schedule sold per client/programs/promotions, as well as “Live” commercials, programming agreements with CBS Radio and it’s affiliates and FCC regulated contracts. Created powerpoint based presentations for concert, on-air, and web supported promotions within the radio stations according to format and demographic. Administrative Support: General Sales Manager, Traffic Manager, Promotions and Programming. Reception and Administrative for radio cluster. Reporting of affidavits/summaries/reconciliations for specified clients according to radio station agreements and on-air support in lieu of commercial air-time. Political Advertising, Chicago Sports Team administrative and advertising support including, Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox and Chicago Blackhawks. Attending stations sponsored events/promotions and interacting with listeners, clients and on-air staff. CBS RADIO – Executive Sales Assistant CBS Radio Cluster (07/ /2007) Office Manager CBS Radio WCKG (10/ /2008) Worked directly with Director of Sales for all 7 CBS Radio stations. Interaction with all General Sales Managers, Corporate Offices and National Sales Managers. Responsibilities included: maintaining database of sales figures (including pacing), preparation of presentations, sales meetings, promotional support, hotel and air accommodations for sales managers, clients and staff nationwide. Preparation for cluster wide sales contests and promotions, luncheons and special events. Responsible for radio format changes including preparation for nationwide advertising campaigns including television, billboards, vehicular wrappings and web support. Integrated digital department in conjunction with all seven radio stations with Director of Sales. WCKG Office Manager: Maintained employee files, legal documentation, (public file), supplies, office equipment, office maintenance, on-air recordings, trade documentation, records and client/vendor contact. HYDE PARK HERALD– Production Supervisor (08/89-05/96) Supervised all production of weekly local neighborhood newspaper. Responsibilities included: All aspects of newspaper production from layout, design, advertising production, editorial layout, photographic layout and pre-press production for 4-color tabloid sized weekly newspaper. Northern State University – Aberdeen, South Dakota – Associates of Arts (Graphic Design) Black Hills State University – Spearfish, South Dakota Windows Vista, Windows 7, Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook, IBS (windows based traffic and advertising system), Excel based spreadsheet entry (corporate), WebEx.
