Later Dickinson wrote in a letter, that she never had a mother.

1. Interpretation Austin wants to go to be in a better place but its saying that he is already in the best place he could be and that he should stay. This poem was very confusing I didn’t really like it.

2. Interpretation They like to be nobody and they don’t want to be over the radar they like to be under the radar. I like this poem because it reminds me of some people I know who are nobody.

3. Interpretation Death haunts somebody but they’re running from it they try to beat death but in the end death wins. This poem was very confusing and I didn’t really understand it.

4. Interpretation Nobody really cares about a single little rose growing in the wind and the only thing that cares for them are the bees and butterflies and they don’t really care because they use them for food. This poem is really easy and understanding this poem is mainly for younger kids I think.

5. Interpretation Its mainly about a boy who walked into the ocean water and and how it feels and how the water is to him. I don’t understand this poem and I really don’t like it at all.

1. There is another sky There is another sky, Ever serene and fair, And there is another sunshine, Though it be darkness there; Never mind faded forests, Austin, Never mind silent fields - Here is a little forest, Whose leaf is ever green; Here is a brighter garden, Where not a frost has been; In its unfading flowers I hear the bright bee hum: Prithee, my brother, Into my garden come!

2. I'm Nobody! Who are you? I'm Nobody! Who are you? Are you -- Nobody -- Too? Then there's a pair of us! Don't tell! they'd advertise -- you know! How dreary -- to be -- Somebody! How public -- like a Frog -- To tell one's name -- the livelong June -- To an admiring Bog!

3. Because I could not stop for Death Because I could not stop for Death He kindly stopped for me The Carriage held but just Ourselves And Immortality. We slowly drove, he knew no haste And I had put away My labor and my leisure too, For his civility. We passed the School, where Children strove At recess in the ring We passed the fields of gazing grain We passed the setting sun. Or rather, he passed us The dews drew quivering and chill For only Gossamer, my gown My tippet only tulle. We paused before a house that seemed A swelling of the GROUND The roof was scarcely visible The cornice in the ground. Since then 'tis centuries and yet Feels shorter than the DAY I first surmised the horses' heads Were toward eternity.

4. Nobody knows this little Rose Nobody knows this little Rose -- It might a pilgrim be Did I not take it from the ways And lift it up to thee. Only a Bee will miss it -- Only a Butterfly, Hastening from far journey -- On its breast to lie -- Only a Bird will wonder -- Only a Breeze will sigh -- Ah Little Rose -- how easy For such as thee to die!

5. I started Early -- Took my Dog -- I started Early -- Took my Dog -- And visited the Sea -- The Mermaids in the Basement Came out to look at me -- And Frigates -- in the Upper Floor Extended Hempen Hands -- Presuming Me to be a Mouse -- Aground -- upon the Sands -- But no Man moved Me -- till the Tide Went past my simple Shoe -- And past my Apron -- and my Belt -- And past my Bodice -- too -- And made as He would eat me up -- As wholly as a Dew Upon a Dandelion's Sleeve -- And then -- I started -- too -- And He -- He followed -- close behind -- I felt his Silver Heel Upon my Ankle -- Then my Shoes Would overflow with Pearl -- Until We met the Solid Town -- No One He seemed to know -- And bowing -- with a Mighty look -- At me -- The Sea withdrew --

Afterward Poem one, was about a boy who wanted to be in a better place than he was but little did he know he was in the best place he has ever been this poem was a little interesting to me because I can relate to somebody who feels the same way as the boy in this poem but if I had to choose I wouldn’t of pick this poem. Poem two is simply about somebody who likes to be nobody and doesn’t want to be out there these people are the type to lay low and not be in a lot of things they like there loneliness I like this poem because I like mellow people and people that aren’t out there basically there shy and that’s cool.

Afterward Part 2 This poem number three is about a person who says death is haunting him and he is trying to run from it but if follows is path and ways and at the very in death over powers him and he dies this poem is the very one I didn’t like because I hate thinking of death it’s the biggest fear of them all to me but other than that this poem was okay. This poem number four is one of my favorite its about a little rose nobody cares about and the only things that care about him is the things that use him such as bees and butterflies this poem is kind of like people how people really don’t care about you but they only use you for what you have this poem is more like a lesson to me then entertainment.

Afterward Part 3 Poem number five is very boring its mainly about a boy who loves the ocean water and who loves to be out there and can describe the water as it rises in falls on his body since I never been to the ocean to experience the ocean water coming up and down and I cant really relate to this there for this poem was not my favorite
