KSJ PIUS X

Vision –Playing together in a group –Education –Experimenting –Being critical –Taking voluntary and long-term engagement –Giving meaning to different things –Concentrating on children and adolescents as individuals, in a group and in society.

KSJ PIUS X Target group –Children from first form and older. –Groups are formed by age

KSJ PIUS X Number of members and their guides –137 members –18 guides

KSJ PIUS X Groups –Sloebers 1 st and 2 nd form (4 guides) –Springers 3 th en 4 th form (3 guides) –Roodkapjes 5 th en 6 th form (4 guides) –JIM 1 st grade (2 guides) –JIM 2 nd grade (2 guides) –SIM 3 th en 4 th grade (2 guides) –+16 5 th grade (1 guide)

LAT Chiro Vision Chiro melden –Everybody has to be allowed in and has to get the same possibilities to participate. (irrespective of their sex, race, talents and posibilities) –Everybody is different: inclusion

LAT Chiro Inclusion vision –Getting rid of special institutes, schools and groups for people with a disability. –People should not have to adjust to its environment, but the environment should be adjusted to the people. So everyone can learn and participate. –All children are different and they can learn a lot from each other.

LAT Chiro All children with all different types of diagnosis are welcome, as long as it is possible not to have to guide the member as an individual in the group = No dyadic guidance, because that way there is no inclusion

LAT Chiro Target group –Current situation: Children without a disability Children with a fysical disability Children with ADHD Children from families who have financial difficulties Children with autism Children with a minor upto moderate mental disability Children with or without a disability are allowed from the age of 6 up to 18 years old (getting older they can become a guide
