W HO ARE CHILDREN ’ S LIBRARIANS ? W E DEVELOP ORIGINAL SUMMER READING PROGRAMS 2011 theme for the Summer Reading Program There were 271 participants in the 2011 summer reading program. There were 8992 total children’s books read during the 2011 summer reading program. There were 102 programs offered throughout the 2011 summer reading program, with a total number of 1639 participants at the programs.
