My Favorite Things Quilt

How I Created My Kid Pix Quilt My Kid Pix quilt represents many things I enjoy. To make this quilt I used several different drawing tools from the presentation program, Kid Pix Deluxe Studio. First I clicked on a tool called an eggbeater. When I selected this tool and clicked in the center of the screen, it created twenty five boxes. I then took the paint can and created a pattern with two colors. I then selected stamps of some of my favorite things. These stamps were edited by me and added to the quilt. By using the “Control” and “Shift” key I changed the sizes of the stamps before adding to my pattern. I chose the girl because she looks like me. She has beautiful long brown hair. The dogs that I put look like my two German Sheppard’s and their names are Gus and Sadie. The cat looks like my cat Sun that I had when I was four years old. She died when I was six years old. She loved to play with her four kittens, Moon, Midnight, Sunset and Snow. The horse is there to show my love for toy horses. I love toy horses because my Aunt Maddie and Aunt Emily are around my age and we love to play with them. These are all of the things that I enjoy in my life!

Winter Is Here

My Favorite Meal and Restaurant My favorite meal is fish because I get it at my aunt’s restaurant, Navados. all the time. I like haddock and salmon. I also like it baked with bread crumbs on top. My step dad also makes super good fish at home with bread crumbs, spices and lemon juice.

My Favorite Season Vacation Spot My favorite seasons are fall and summer. I like fall because I jump in the leaves and go for walks with my baby brother, Mom and step dad and sometimes we take my two German Sheppard’s. I love Summer because I go swimming with my baby brother and my mom. Sometimes we go to my moms friends house to go swimming with her and her baby. I also love summer because we go to Florida for vacation sometimes. When we are at Florida we go to Disney World or Sea World if we can.

My Favorite Show and Cartoon My favorite TV show is Ellen DeGeneres because I like it when she dances with the audience. I also like it when she has famous people on her show like Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Justin Timberlake. Me and my mom watch her everyday. My favorite Cartoon is Fish Hooks because it is funny and it is entertaining to watch.

My Best Friend My Best friend is Mackenzie H. because we have known each other since we were in preschool. She is very nice and she always helps me if I need help. Once on the bus I dropped my gloves and she helped me find them.

My Favorite Book My favorite book is The Lightning Thief. The Lightning Thief is my favorite book because it is entertaining and it makes you laugh at some parts. I also like it because of the characters Grover and Percy. Well, that is why I love The Lightning Thief!

My Favorite Activity My Favorite Activity is playing with my baby brother because it is fun but it is painful sometimes because he pokes me in the eyes by mistake and he throws his toy trucks at me. When we play he finds it entertaining because we play peek-a-boo and he loves to play it. We chase each other around the house sometimes too. That’s why I love to play with my baby brother.
