We think that what the Lebanese Diaspora lacks in order to be powerful is Solidarity and that is what we are precisely building.

That is honorably presided by the Lebanese Ambassador in the specified country and the Consul as Honorary Member L.I.B.A.N. is a very selective association that only groups: THE TOP 5 to 10 Leading Lebanese young businesspeople (or of Lebanese origin) of each country (as members) where we open chapters THE TOP 5 to 10 local businesspeople of that country (as guest members) Foreign Chapter A coordinator (President) of the chapter is then appointed

Responsibilities of the President of the L.I.B.A.N.’s Chapter: To coordinate between the foreign chapter of L.I.B.A.N. and the Lebanese Committee based in Lebanon. This committee gathers the leading 5 to 10 Lebanese businesspeople, based in Lebanon, who own important investments in the specified country and is honorably presided by the accredited Ambassador in Lebanon with the Commercial Counselor as Honorary Member. President Committee

L.I.B.A.N. Achievements: We have opened so far 10 chapters in the MENA region (Jordan, Egypt, Iraq (Baghdad & Kurdistan), Syria, Kuwait, Turkey, Cyprus, Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria) We are currently working on opening others in the rest of the Arab region. We have coordinators working on opening new chapters in the USA, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Ukraine, Russia, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Poland, England, Japan, Australia, and Mexico... Hopefully, this will enable us to give back to Lebanon its strategic role of hub between the West and our market of more than 300 million people.

L.I.B.A.N. Achievements: L.I.B.A.N. has in 2001, in the presence of the President of the Republic, General Emile Lahoud, The First Arab Forum For Young Entrepreneurs Associations. This Arab Forum represents all Arab countries through their national young entrepreneurs associations. L.I.B.A.N. received an award from the President of the Republic for this achievement.

Finally We are glad to share with you one of the great reactions, International readers of Daily Star Herald Tribune had about the interview we gave about L.I.B.A.N goals and future plans. “ The man from L.I.B.A.N. with the Diaspora in his sights ” “ I was really impressed. We, as Lebanese, are spread out all over the world and have been really successful. If we just learned to work together, rather than compete with each other, we would not only grow in power, but also guarantee that today's youth and the next generation would take Lebanon to the next level. I am proud that such an organization as LIBAN exists. It's the right way to start ”. Fayez Moukarim Caracas, Venezuela
