What is Cross Country? Cross country is a sport where your goal is to run a distance of 1.5 to 2 miles (depending on the course) at the middle school level as fast as you can. Experience level for each sport HMS does not discourage any student from trying out for a team. But since most sports have cuts, it’s important to have realistic expectations during tryouts. Otherwise they must be dropped off at the nurse’s office at Hillsborough High School by Friday, August 23 rd. Do not submit FORM A without FORM B...and vice versa. They must be together.
