 Contract for Cleve Parker  A three-year extension contract was signed by Lt. Governor Class President Cindy Crowther as per the motion made by the Board of Trustees on August 15,  Motion by Div 5 and second by 20M  “no member can be assigned, appointed or elected to any more than one office or District Chair in any year” referred to the Administration Committee for further study  Month End Reports  Just a reminder to send in your month end reports.

Lt. Gov. Dennis Varga Division 17  Lt. Governor Dennis Varga of Division 17 wins the Governor’s Challenge Award for the 1 st Club to be built during the month of October.  Dennis will receive $750 towards expenses to travel to the Kiwanis Int’l Convention in Nashville TN

Loni Barrett has created a website for Lt. Governors and members to use. Great way to exchange information.

 WE HAVE A REASON TO GROW!  I IT’S FOR THE KIDS!  OUR NUMBERS  ARE DOWN  At the end of October  2008 we have  Lost another 269 members  WHY?

 Mailed letters to every club asking for a $50-$100 donation to the fund. So far $860 has been received.  Thanks to  Kiwanis Clubs of Peninsula-Portland  Ross Island Early-risers  Greater Tacoma  Oliver ($500)
