A framework to interact, share expertise, and work on problems of common interest in M&S. Mission is to foster: professionalism in modeling and simulation, advancing the art and science of M&S, applying M&S in all domains where it is applicable, and disseminating M&S-related knowledge.

To stimulate the development of modeling and simulation companies in Ottawa contributing to the solution of national and international problems. To enhance the educational opportunities in modeling and simulation in the National Capital Region including graduate theses work, academic courses, and professional training and seminars. To contribute to the advancement of the state-of-the-art of modeling and simulation methodology, technology, and tools. To contribute to the development of modeling and simulation as a professional discipline.
