Welcome to the Fourth Grade Parent Orientation !

Schedule 8:30 – 9:10 Arrival and Unpack Morning Announcements 9:10 – 9:50 Science/Social Studies 9:55 – 10:35 Specials 10:40 – 12:15 Math 12:20 – 1:20 Recess/Lunch 1:25 – 2:55 Language Arts 2:55 – 3:20 Engagement/Assessment Block 3:20 – 3:25 Pack-up/Dismissal Double Specials are on Wednesdays. Band is on Thursdays.

Math Program All of 4 th grade will be taught the new Frederick County Core Curriculum using several resources. –Houghton Mifflin –Investigations All teachers will offer enrichment opportunities for every student. We are not switching classes. There will be flexible grouping for students who may need varying levels of enrichment.

Though the fourth grade team works closely together, each teacher possesses a unique teaching style. Therefore, it is important to remember that each class is unique, and will not be an exact copy.
