Monument to V. I. Lenin. It was erected in the honor of the 70th anniversary of Great October on November 6, It is a monument to the founder of the Communist Party and the Soviet State V.I.Lenin. It was the first in the zone of BAM (Baykal- Amur Railway). It is a five-meter bronze monument, established on the marble pedestal. The monument was prepared at the Minsk plant of monumental sculpture. It was designed by the sculptor Gevorkyan X. B. and the architect Patronov A.P.

Horses’ Hitching Posts Sacred horses’ hitching posts -serge “Aar - Bagakh”- were put up in Lenin Square in 1990 up to commemorate the 15 th anniversary of Neryungri. They are in a set of three. They are topped by a model of the Choron - the ceremonial kumyss cup and with a horse’s head. Sacred horse’s hitching post is a symbol of hospitality and friendship. It is a prototype of the world tree in the culture of the Yakut people.

Cultural and ethnographic centre. In the fall of 1999 the cultural and ethnographic center was built in our town. It is an architectural construction of the traditional Yakut dwellings: a balagan and an urasa. It was designed by the architect Anatoliy Panfilovich Semenov. Now it is a place of scientific meetings and conferences, pedagogical seminars and lectures.

Glory Memorial In our recreation park one can see the statue of the goddess of victory, Nika. It is Glory Memorial. It was erected by all labor teams of the Neryungrinsky rayon for the 60th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War in 2005.

Monument to A.E. Stolypin The monument to A. E. Stolypin is situated on the bank of the Chulman River. Aleksey Evlampevich Stolypin was born in 1917 in Amur region. After graduating from technical school, before the Great Patriotic War he worked as an engineer. Since January 1965 he was the head of coal mine “Neryungra”. A. E. Stolypin perished on 6 (8) June, The unveiling monument to A. E. Stolypin took place in 1999 on August 27 on the bank of the Chulman River. The author of the project is sculptor A.A.Mashtakov.

Memorial to all builders of the Southern Yakutia Coal Complex. The memorial to all those who died in the process of exploration the Southern Yakutia Coal Complex was laid on August 25, 2000, in Neryungri. It was erected on the high bank of the Chulman River next to the grave of the first coal mine head Aleksey Evlampevich Stolypin. The main part of the memorial is a twelve-meter obelisk in the form of stretched upward hands hold a bell. There is an inscription “To founders of the Yuzhno-Yakut Coal Complex” on the plate.

“Neryungrinsky” mine “Neryungrinsky” mine is one of Yakutugol JS Holding Company branches. Yakutugol JS Holding Company is the leading coal- mining enterprise of Sakha Republic (Yakutia). Among its main activities are production and concentration of coal, mining and other works on coal deposits. It provides with coal enterprises of Yakutia, metallurgical and power producing companies of Russia and Asia-Pacific countries. More than 50 % of Yakutugol's production is exported. The largest consumers of Neryungri coking coal are metallurgists of Japan. Our coal is also in demand from metallurgists and power producers of South Korea, Taiwan and India.

Sculptural composition “Neryungri” It is a very ornate composition in the theme of Yakut epic poetry “Olonkho”. In the center of it one can see a figure of an old man, a storyteller olonkhosut, which narrates about the life and the exploits of the national hero Nyurgun Bootur. Along the sides there are two figures of girls in the national suits. One of them holds a national cup, choron, another accompanies the story of olonkhosut by playing the national musical instrument khomus. The old man invites guests to visit the wonderful city, where heroic people live. The composition contains the volumetric inscription “Neryungri” and the old emblem of the town. It was built to the 10th anniversary of the town. It was unveiled on November 6, 1985 and put up on the entrance into the town.

Monument “To the First Builders of Neryungri” The monument “To the First Builders of Neryungri” was unveiled on November 6, 1985 in the honor of the 10th anniversary of the town. It is a two- figured composition – a young boy and a girl in the working clothing, in the background there is a seven-meter obelisk with an inscription “To the First Builders of Neryungri 1975.” It was designed by Nikitin P.P., Stelmashenko A.V., Romanov M.G., Zaytsev V.V. On November 6, 1975 the small miner settlement Neryungri with the population of 600 people received the status of the town with republican subordination.
