What is MMSS? An initiative of the Roll Back Malaria Partnership to facilitate the access of endemic countries to quality affordable antimalarial medicines and other essential supplies: insecticide-treated mosquito nets, rapid diagnostic tests (RDT), and insecticides. Role of facilitator

MMSS works at the different levels of the supply chain Forecast Supply Manufacturing Procurement Orders Management Transports/ Logistics Distribution

MMSS compiles, consolidates and establishes forecast for drugs and nets MMSS works with technical partners to proactively identify reliable suppliers organizes the technical assistance to manufacturers to accelerate submission to prequalification / certification works with partners to facilitate investment in manufacturing. MMSS works at the different levels of the supply chain Forecast Supply Manufacturing

MMSS works at the different levels of the supply chain MMSS assists countries in preparing their procurement plans assist countries in identifying the products available (notably on the basis of quality assurance standards) manages the supply of some items tracks and maintains updates of procurement activities of various agencies maintains updates on production plans Procurement Orders Management

MMSS assists countries with estimating costs (insurance, freight) and identifying time constraints and solving logistic issues MMSS fields missions to review with countries the drug management situation, and works with partners to provide technical assistance to countries in drug management and distribution systems MMSS works at the different levels of the supply chain Transports/Logistics Distribution
