Overview of KLR The Kentucky Legislative Review (KLR) System was developed to streamline and automate the process used by agencies to review and respond to pending legislation during session of the Kentucky General Assembly. The Governor’s office uses this system to find out a Bill’s impact on the various agencies of state government. KLR is used to assign Bills for review, review an assigned Bill, submit reviews of Bills, browse pending legislation and generate reports.

Training The method to be used for training KLR System Users for the 2006 Legislative session is the “Train the Trainer” method. Agencies will be requested to send representatives to the training sessions delivered by the Commonwealth Office of Technology during November These agency representatives will be responsible for training the rest of the agency’s KLR Users by the beginning of the Legislative session on January 3, 2006.
