Directed by His Presence ‘I will guide you with my eye.’ Psalm 32:8 ‘This is the way, walk in it…’ Isaiah 30:21 ‘In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.’ Proverbs 3:6

Directed by His Presence What is our next big breakthrough? Learning how to be directed by His presence? Being more skilled in listening to the direction He gives? Realisation of how much we need His direction?

Directed by His Presence ‘Why do we need direction? We were created to connect with the divine. God has a plan for our lives God has a plan for the church

Directed by His Presence What does the Bible say? God the Father…. ‘…..so loved the world He gave His only Son….’ John 3:16 Jesus Christ…. ‘……loved the church and gave Himself up for her….’ Ephesians 5:25

Directed by His Presence What would this look like? A relevant, dynamic and compelling enjoyment of God’s Holy Spirit living in us and calling out of us a life of holiness and of making Jesus known to us. A lifelong adventure in a deepening love relationship with Jesus, who restores our souls and gives our lives an eternal and spiritual relevance that echoes with the deepest parts of our being.

Directed by His Presence We find community ‘our place’ in a living entity called ‘The Church,’ because Jesus loves it and wants us to be involved in it; not as a Religious Structure but as people joined together as ‘living stones’ or ‘parts of the body,’ made fit for the purpose and performing what we were born to be and do. Life works best when we enjoy God’s order, with everything in and around our lives arranged in the way He wants it to be. Continuing chaos which drains the life out of everything and everyone, is replaced by an order that far from limiting our lives, brings perfect freedom.

Directed by His Presence Conclusion God is not only a starter but a finisher Philippians 1:6 When we learn what we are being taught and change our character to become more like Him, the heat can subside. Don’t forget what He started He intends to finish, so the more malleable, pliable and flexible we are, the more of His presence shapes and directs our lives and the easier the journey will be.
