 Create Bears Group’s administrative web server  Create mystery game website on uniform server

 One week to set up both sites  Design, develop and implement an html-based mystery game application  The application will be static html with hyperlinks  Emphasis of project is on implementing a successful working program

 Broken links  Improperly formatted web pages  Server crashes  Uncompleted tasks by group members

 The site will act as the group’s central hub  HTML links will point to project demo sites and launch class related files for documentation and project links

 One member’s Shrike account set up  Link sent to all group members  All group members to verify access to group page  Templates populated and loaded to site

Group’s Administrative Website  Group members to access the shrike account  Group members to test links  Group members to download and resubmit files

 Loosely based on typical detective stories  Program is HTML based  Story is broken down into scenarios  User is given several options to proceed at end of each scenario  Choose wrong = game is over  Choose right = move on to the next scenario  Program is HTML based

 Multiple systems to be prepared  Primary system where the Uniform Server will be installed  html code loaded.  Game to be accessible via IE and Firefox in the classroom  Game must run without error

 The secondary or backup system where the Uniform Server will be installed  html code loaded.  Game to be accessible via IE and Firefox in the classroom  Game must run without error

 Back Up HTML code loaded directly to group shrike account  Game to be accessible via IE and Firefox in the classroom  Game must run without error

Mystery Game  Verify access to Uniform Server  Test all links on game and to ensure none fail  Review text content for spelling and grammatical errors  Provide feedback on logical sequence of game scenarios  Test application within the class room prior to live demo
