Experience from TIPP11 Ted Liu (co-chair) gave ~20 min report TIPP11 web site accesses were monitored automatically and categorized into regions, giving immediate feedback on advertisements and allowing some guesses on relative participation Program chairs encouraged talk on challenges met, lessons learned, things to avoid, and visions for the future → a bit of a paradigm shift away from “glossy” talks TIPP wants to expand their topics to medical and space instrumentation (NSS/MIC watch out!)
