 Nikki’s Parent’s went to the city.  She was alone.  While Nikki’s parents were gone, there was a wildfire.  She tried to call for help, but could not get anyone.  Nikki meets two kids.  They walk around the forest together.  All three of them meet two hunters that are threatening & trying to kill them.  They get away by being saved by the Sherriff.

Because -It was a good book!  This book does not have any happy parts.  It is an action adventure.  Every character did something they should not have done.  There are some bloody parts.

 There were no happy parts.  Because of all the adventure and action in it.  There’s a lot of trouble makers.  Not everyone was okay at the end.
