Renewable Energy  Renewable energy will reduce green house gases and fuel emissions.  Its possible: Today in countries such as Iceland, Tajikistan, Paraguay, Albania and Lesotho 100 % of all energy generated comes from renewable sources.  Its possible: Today in countries such as Iceland, Tajikistan, Paraguay, Albania and Lesotho 100 % of all energy generated comes from renewable sources.

Renewable Energy  The problem with renewable energy is not just opinions of Governments and business but individuals are well.  Many motorists do not believe that an electric vehicle has sufficient power.  Most of the vehicles produced today are not electric powered.

Renewable Energy  Most homes do not have solar panels or solar hot water systems.  Some people opinion is based on outdated facts about renewable energy.  Efficiency has improved over the last ten years nanostructures-solar-cell-efficiency.html nanostructures-solar-cell-efficiency.html

Renewable Energy  We will try to change everyone’s opinion on renewable energy.

Renewable Energy  Although China, Germany, the United States, Italy, and Brazil are aggressively pursuing the development and utilization of renewable energy not enough is being done.  Unfortunately amount on investment into renewable energy is not sufficient.

Non-Renewable Energy  Many Governments do not want to knock down old power plants and old dams that do not produce electricity.  Japan and Ukraine have been building many nuclear power plants over the last decade.

Non-Renewable Energy  Certain Governments are even considering building more coal power stations.  Thus if we do nothing the use of non- renewable energy will not disappear any time soon.

Climate Change  The devastating environmental affects cannot be avoided with current levels of investment.  Increase in world population will raise demand for energy resulting in more pollution and rising temperatures.

Nuclear Accidents  List of nuclear disasters:  Chernobyl  Fukushima  Sunken submarines of Soviet Union, USA and Russia.

What we will do?  Research  Minor Projects  Maintenance  Courses  Conferences and Seminars  Newsletters  Advertising and promotion of renewable energy

Partnerships  Hydro Drive (Thailand):

Ask for Funding  Fill in the form online to get funding for renewable energy generator, biofuel or battery.  You might have to wait.

Newsletter  The newsletter is ed to members every two month.  We do not send letters.  You can submit your article for the newsletter.

Memberships After signing up as member you must donate to our organisation online. After signing up as member you must donate to our organisation online. We do not accept cheques or cash at the moment. We do not accept cheques or cash at the moment.  Discounts on our conferences

Volunteering  We need volunteers for:  Newsletter  Presentations  Seminars  Event/exhibition stalls  Graphic design  Office administration  Advertising  Police check is not required for some of those positions.

Survey  We care about the opinion of our sponsors, members, volunteers and audiences.  We value your time.  Please fill in the survey form on the website.

Posters  You can submit your own graphic design for renewable energy and we will publish it in the newsletter or bulletin board.

Sponsorships  If your company sponsors us then:  We can upload your logo on our website with your site link attached.  We will put your logo in posters and promotional material.

Advertising  You can printout our flyers/forms and distribute them to friends.  We advertise via  internet,  posters,  flyers.

Advertising  Future plants include radio and TV advertising.  We are an environmental organisation and thus concerned about use of resources in our promotional materials.

Budget  Current budget is very limited because we only been around since June 2012.

Conclusion  At the moment the view on renewable energy is very negative.  Thus a lot of work needs to be done.

Conclusion Thank you for your attention renewableenergysociety.org
