Beamline and Hall Shielded area virtually complete –SW corner –Replacement West wall concrete ordered, corner pieces about to be ordered –Delivery both ~6 weeks, installation next opportunity –Extra wall near Door and roof subject to survey Extra shielding in plinth doorway –Plan using high density blocks, availability ~1 week –Agreement with Paul Wright RPA –Check numbers needed and Order today Plinth rails installed & surveyed –Double check needed on alignment measurements CKOV stand –Materials and parts ordered by Oxford –Discussion, & Extra small detail drgs lifting, dowel pins etc (being finished?) –CJN will organise PRR (Peter back next week)

Triplet baseplates at RAL –Installation details being finalised, hope to install 1-2 weeks time –But Need blockhouse access Rolling platform –Review end September –Ordered air skates –First platform required March 08 Future plans –False floor –Concrete plinth

MICE – platforms and baseplates CONCEPT – PLATFORM WITH AIR SKATES CLAMPED TO BASEPLATE IN INSTALLED LOCATION. WHEN ACCESS IS REQ’D THE CLAMPS ARE RELEASED AND THE TRACKER IS FLOATED TO A PARKED POSITION.
