THE INSTRUCTIONS Gather all materials: plates, crayons, and stylus Find a table or desk: any hard surface to work on First, you will use the crayons and color all over the face of the plate. Next, take a black crayon and color over your first layer. Then use the stylus to make a picture.

THE INSTRUCTIONS Gather all of the materials: paper, crayons, stylus, black Tempura paint, soap, and foam brush. Find a table or desk: any hard surface to work on First, you will use the crayons and color over the entire piece of paper. Mix the black Tempura pain with a few drops of the liquid soap. Next, take the foam brush and black Tempura paint and soap mixture and paint over your first layer. Allow the paint to dry. Then use the stylus to make a picture.

THERAPEUTIC BENEFITS Psychosocial: This can be an enjoyable activity for individuals and if they enjoy what they do they are more likely to comply with therapy. Thus, helping them to improve their skills, self-worth and participation in life. Rehab: Scratch art can help improve fine motor skills which can only be helpful for many activities of everyday life such as dressing, writing, and any object manipulations. As well as be used to help improve cognitive skills.

PRECAUTIONS Be aware of the pointed stylus Be aware of your clients abilities so as to be in the flow zone If you chose homemade craft option 2 you may want to have an apron or proper attire so as not to ruin clothes
