Waste Pro Recycle Rewards Program City of Palm Coast

Recycle Rewards Program History Program became effective June 1, Every resident received a new blue recycle bin with an RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) chip. Each time the bin is placed by the curb, a device in the truck records recycling frequency. To participate in the program residents may register by calling or going to Discounts are available to ALL residents, however, those that recycle more often receive the greater rewards. Quarterly drawings for larger prizes are funded by Waste Pro Rewards and prizes may vary.

Recycling/Solid Waste Trends

PALM COAST RECYCLING PARICIPATION Approximately 60% of Palm Coast households recycle. WASTEPRO REWARDS PROGRAM PARTICIPATION With just six months into the program, Palm Coast has one of the highest participation rates in the country with 25.3% or 8237 of 32,600 households participating! According to Rewards for Recycling, of the 37+ cities that have the same or similar recycling rewards programs, the first six months average a 12-13% participation rate. Recycling Participation
