Thematic scope Main Aim : Sustainable management and competitive utilisation of cultivated forest resources Contribute mainly to three topics of EFI strategy : (1) Effects of forest management and the forest value chain on economic, environmental, social and cultural sustainability in Europe. (2) Impacts of climate change and other (a)biotic disturbances, and development of adaptation and mitigation strategies in forest management. (3) Competitiveness of forest resources for energy and material products in relation with to other natural resources.
Geographic scope Focusing on atlantic zone : GB Ireland Western France Northern Spain Portugal
