Health care system refers to services that address health needs. the ottawa charter changed the atmosphere for governments and their people who were sick and to also look at the conditions (social and economic) that make it difficult for individuals to achieve good health.

In 2009: - $ pension or healthcare card $5.30 there are many drugs available which means that Aust. can buy reasonably-price medications for most conditions. The Aust. PBS is one of the most effective in the world.
Private Insurance Is not compulsory, and is provided by private organisations. the government runs incentives for people to take up private health insurance- easy the burden on the healthcare system
