What do we study? Western civilization 1500 to now, including: Discovery – Columbus and Gutenberg Renaissance – Leonardo Da Vinci Reformation – Martin Luther Scientific Revolution – Galileo Absolute Monarchy – Louis XIV and Peter the Great

“In 1492, Columbus sailed…” … and the ideas of humanism spread

The Renaissance included …the original Ninja Turtles

The Reformation Begun by Marin Luther split the Christian Church and led to wars and persecutions and a famous defenestration.

The Scientific Revolutionaries …figured out that the Earth revolves around the Sun thanks to men like Copernicus and Galileo

and Absolute Monarchs had all of the power ! (as well as the crown jewels)
