Your name will be spelled vertically in your project, it is the “spine” of your autobiography. *See my example to the right* You will write 10 or more Spanish sentences about yourself. For my example to the right which has 15 letters, I need to write 15 Spanish sentences. The sentences will be written horizontally on your project page so that they cross at a letter. The letters in your NAME will remain large and bold. The sentences may cross the letters at any point the letter appears in the sentence. El Calendario The title of the page will be your birthday month. Please include pictures for this page as well. You will need to include: -a sentence stating the DATE of your birthday -a sentence stating the SEASON your birthday is in - a sentence stating the DATE(S) of any holidays that occur during that month -a sentence stating three appropriate weather phrases for this month *Remember to include pictures that will help show what you have written in your Spanish sentences.

El Tiempo Libre… Los pasatiempos… You will need to create 2 pages for your Free Time and Pastime Activities. 1 page is a positive opinion and the 2nd page is a negative opinion about things to do. “Me encanta(n)” “Me gusta(n)” “Me choca(n)” ¡ME ENCANTA(N)…! ¡ME GUSTA(N)…! You will need to show images for the activities of your positive opinion(s). Use 6 or more drawings, clip art, magazine cutouts, personal photos, or any other source of visual support. For each image, you will write your opinion of the activities in complete Spanish sentences. Be sure to use the infinitive for your activity (-ar, -er, -ir) ¡ME CHOCA! ¡NO ME GUSTA…! You will need to show images for the activities of your negative opinion(s). You must include 6 or more pictures with complete Spanish sentences for this section.

¿Cómo soy yo? There will be 2 parts for this section: a physical description and a personality description section. You must include at least one picture of yourself. Physical Description: Write a least 5 sentences describing your physical appearance. (hair, eye color, height, etc.) Write at least 5 sentences describing your personality. (nice, mean, studious, hard-working, etc.) In your sentences be sure to use the correct form of SER = To be permanently. Be careful also with adjective agreement: -o, -a, -os, -as -e, -es

AR/ER/IR Verb Page Create a way to show the chart of verb endings used for all 3 types of verbs (-ar, -er, -ir) You may design a chart or even use other shapes / forms. Write 15 sentences using a variety of verb forms (endings: o, as, a, amos, an o, es, e, emos, en o, es, e, imos, en) Each sentence must include a frequency phrase (a nice variety, please). Yo como las palomitas todos los días. Write 5 sentences to show the action of a verb and how it makes you/a person feel. When… = Cuando (no accent mark is needed Cuando yo canto, yo estoy feliz.

Mis clases en la Escuela… You will need a class/school picture, you must label 20 school supplies in Spanish (use “el” and “la” “los” and “las”). You may draw the school supplies, use clip art, magazine cutouts, personal pictures, etc. You could have them located in a locker, book bag, classroom, etc. Be creative! Make your page exciting! Once all of your school supplies have been drawn and labeled, write 5 sentences using prepositions to describe the location in comparison to one another. El lápiz está cerca de la bandera. Los Animales Create an animal collage or scene. Choose 15 different animals to include on your page. Write 15 sentences to describe them. Be sure to show noun-adjective agreement. For example La vaca vieja es blanca y negra. Somewhere on the page, please include a sentence stating your favorite animal.

Finally, on the last page, please write a note to me in English. Reflection Page Finally, on the last page, please write a note to me in English. The first paragraph should include you reflecting upon last year’s Spanish class. You can include things you enjoyed, or struggled with.
