Password creation *Unique to student *easy to remember *8 characters minimum *include a capital letter, number *share with teachers EXAMPLE: ‘PmKeyES2A’ Pm (student initials) KeyES (our school) 2A (homeroom) 2A Luehrs2B Govea 2C Jarvis2D Castillo
iPad delivery… 4. Once ALL consent s have been confirmed and passwords created, we can order our iPads from APS Information Systems warehouse.

MDM- multiple device manager Permits the manager to control content on each device and manage accounts. *Manage accounts: install, manage and remove accounts *Manage configurations: controls restrictions and resets passwords *Manage content: push or rescind apps, ebooks or PDFs *Device queries: Query device, network, application or security information *Security: remotely lock or wipe device
Features of the Key ‘Personalized Device’ used on the MDM *ZERO cost to parents *iPads are issued with protective case *student information protected by Student Information Protection Act and Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act *no App Store available to student users *limited Settings control by student users with many features disabled *web content is filtered by APS firewall, security and proxy server even when used on a home network *content can be delivered at school so there is no need to connect to a network at home to do schoolwork
