Integrated Operations Control To manage disruptions so that the perceived disturbance by passengers is minimized while costs are kept in control. Descartes Partners:

Integrated Operations Control Passenger perception Feasibility & cost control Airline Operation Crew Passenger Aircraft

Integrated Operations Control Three Solvers Airline Operation Crew Aircraft Passenger

What the Passenger Solver does Aircraft solution options from OPS control Optimal rebooking scenario for each option Passenger costs presented for each option Rebooking instructions for each passenger

Objectives All objectives are specified in Rave Total delay in Passenger Value Delay Minutes (PVDM) Upgrade and downgrade Passenger compensation Hotel accomodation Food vouchers etc. Two costs presented for each option: PVDM Money (SEK)

Speed Based on a very fast optimization algorithm Suggests optimal passenger rebookings in 2-5 secs. for normal sized disruptions. E.g. solves a problem with 3 options of each 37 affected flights in 5 secs.
