To plan an Enterprise Activity at school during the last week of this term To identify how we can be successful in planning an Enterprise Activity Think of some questions now that will help you be successful

How could taking part in this event help you progress in Working Life? This term there is going to be a Winter Fayre at Tallis run by students in Year 10 and Year 12. Every group is raising money for a chosen charity. In addition, Year 12 will also be raising money for the TTRA.

What does a Christmas Fayre look like? “Guess who the photographs are” stall Information stall with free lollipops! Football game with a raffle Santa’s Grotto Funny photobooth What is needed in order to organise one?

Planning for success We made a lucky dip game from old toys and wrapping from home. We contacted local businesses to ask for donations. Plan a stall that will raise the profile of your campaign Plan for activities that will raise money for the chosen charities Plan to have fun! Plan a stall that will raise the profile of your campaign Plan for activities that will raise money for the chosen charities Plan to have fun!

Agree on a general theme for your stall and what you will need to do it In your groups… Complete a SWOT analysis for your idea… Be prepared to present this in some form before the end of the lesson

To identify what you will need to have a successful stall. To create a plan for the day including resources such as a banner and table decorations You need to get a shift on to create everything needed for your stall

Starting a stall from scratch is a big task but not impossible with some help What will you need? You should have a general idea of what you want to do. Now create a list of items that you will need for your stall. Once complete – make a list of people that might help you with them

Don’t approach people without a plan! Things we need: Hula hoops Basket balls Sweets Red paper Christmas decorations People who might help: PE department? Ask for donations? Local businesses?
