TIPS ON TEACHING YLE IN THE DIGITAL ERA TEACHERS’ SEMINAR AUGUST 2005

How computer-oriented are you? Do your students fit in the Digital generation profile? What’s new about Epractice? How can Epractice activities be integrated into our lessons? SESSION PLAN

The Digital generation? My students are very comfortable with technology. My students often rush through tasks in the classroom, and lose interest if there is lack of variety. My students multi-task their private lives. My students regularly use the Internet and computer games. My students are “connected” to friends through a range of devices (e.g. s, blogs, mobile phone text messaging). [Paton, Colin. ‘The digital Generation’. In: Blue Flash TG, LF] The Digital generation?
