 Read blogs of interest. ›  Ask students to read blogs. Start by supplying a subject related list and review them with your students.  Create a class blog. Ask students to respond to posts on your blog.  Have students create and maintain a group blog.  Ask students to start and maintain their own blog on a subject of their interest that is pertinent to your class.

 Blogs can promote critical and analytical thinking.  Blogs can promote creative and intuitive thinking.  Blogs have the potential for increased access and exposure to quality information.  Blogs offer a combination of solitary and social interaction.

 Current events  Writing prompts  Provide online readings for your students to read and react to  Showcase student art, poetry, and creative stories  L ink your class with another class in the country, in the world  Create an online book club  Build a class newsletter, using student written articles, and photos they take
