Files and Folders What’s the difference?

What are files ? Collections of digital information created on or for computers click the mouse or press the space bar to continue

Microsoft Office Applications File sizes don’t often exceed a few megabytes except for large documents or presentations that include pictures and databases using complex queries and formulae click the mouse or press the space bar to continue

Picture or Image files their file size depends on the resolution of the image, which can range from a few hundred kilobytes to several megabytes click the mouse or press the space bar to continue

Music and Video file sizes can vary, depending on which program has been used to create them. Generally a Music file in.mp3 format can be about 3 – 5 megabytes while a video file can range from several megabytes for a short video clip to more than 4 Gigabytes for a full length feature film click the mouse or press the space bar to continue
