What is a coral Reef? See full-size image.Remove Frame Remove Frame Below is the image in its original context on the page: parks/coral_reef.htmwww.touregypt.net/ parks/coral_reef.htm Did you know that coral reefs have been on the earth for 450 million years? Coral reefs are the largest natural structure in the world. They are made up of coral animals {also known as coral polyps} and zooxanthellae. There are137 species of coral found in southern Sinai.

Coral Reef Many people us dynamite to Fish. But they don’t understand that they are also hurting the coral reef. Coral reefs need from 68 degrees to 82 degrees to live.

Dynamite Fishing They are also killing fish too. For example such fish like the butterfly fish, the clown fish, the Farces fish and the Atlantic Blue tang will have nothing to protect itself and will eventually die out. If this keeps happening at a steady pace more than 50% of the coral reef will vanish. When some people dynamite fish they use dynamite to kill the fish. But when they do this they also kill the coral reef too.

Problems for the coral reef The main problems for coral is… Pollution Over fishing Dynamite and cyanide fishing and Sedimentation

Solutions Here are some solutions to saving the coral reefs. 1. Make a law to ban dynamite fishing. 2. Make an under water vacuum to catch the fish and not the coral reefs.
