Surgeons Surgeons are crucial in the health science industry for many reasons. They perform operations which involve cutting of a body, to remove or repair organs inside the body.
General Surgery This type of surgery focuses on organs located in the abdominal area. This includes: Intestines Esophagus Stomach Colon Gallbladder
Cardiac Surgery This type of surgery focuses on the heart or around the vessels of the heart. This type of surgery is useful to treat: Valvular heart disease Ischemic heart disease Congenital heart disease
Dental Surgery Surgery that uses medical procedures to fix dental problems. Types of dental surgery include: Endodontic surgery Prosthodontics surgery Orthodontic treatment
Dermatologic Surgery This type of surgery deals with skin and diseases that deal with the skin. Dermatologic surgery also deals with diseases or cancer in: Scalp Hair Nails
