IMPORTANCE OF PHYSICAL HEALTH By: Camille Lopez

SPORTS CLUB IN GERMANY  91, 000 different sports club with about 26 million members. Some German sports club are known internationally (FC Bayern München and Borussia Dortmund).  Sports club are less cheaper than health fitness centers (anyone can join).  Immigrants can join sports club to help them transition better in society.  Children will less likely play video games and figure out their preference in life.  Sports club are all connected to other public institutions (schools, nursery, etc).

IT'S NOT ALL ABOUT SOCCER  Most Germans don’t belong in a health fitness center, but are members of verein (clubs).  Clubs allow people to be part of the community.  Walking/running: trails and paths are everywhere in Germany (Nordic walking or Volkslauf/Volksmarches).  Golf: in order to play, members need a Platzreife (golfing license) because they need to know golf rules and etiquettes.  Swimming pools are everywhere as well in Germany, it could be local pools or amusement-like pools.
