Aims of Year 4/5 Children at the heart of learning Developing Independence – children to take the lead for their own learning as this develops progress and target awareness. To build on previous key skills developed – focusing on Literacy and Numeracy skills.

Reward Systems Important to build confidence and self belief Whole class approach – class treat Group approach – table points Individual approach – star charts Peer approach – star spies and pupils award prizes at the end of the day.
