FISHERIES Slide5/5/ Factors having an influence on price International supply Variable according to the different commodities (groundfish, pelagics, salmon etc…) Globally abundant in 2009 but less abundant in 2010 with some tensions on salmon, cephalopods, shrimps and tuna EU supply Abundant supply of most groundfish species (cod, hake, haddock) in 2009 and 2010 (but not for saithe) Lack of « high value » species such as monk, sole, red mullet or nephrops in 2010
