 Paid software are more used in the beginning Example: project INFOTIME in Slovakia (central buying of the software Derive and Cabri Geometry in mathematics education) They are products of the company Texas Instruments  There was later development of the open source softwares

 Boom of using of the open source software in the „third world“  Decreasing of the using of paid softwares in the primary and secondary schools  Project „ Free Open Source Software for Schools“ (SOS)  Different kind of software-educational software, KompoZer – wysiwyg HTML editor  GeoGebra, webnode.cz webpage

 KompoZer is free software, which is independent from the platform and accessible for Linux and Mac OS X. Kompozer belongs to Wysiwyg editors (What You See Is What You Get ).  It means for our practise, that we write directly text, insert pictures. We needn't coding of the html page.  Editor „translates“ all to the html language.  Files save on the disk with attachment html. We can with Kompozer to create own WebPages and published them on the internet without knowledge of the HTML language.  The pupils, which are good in using MS Word, MS Excel or other programs of MS Office, have advantage in the work with Kompozer. They can use Kompozer intuitively and can understand work in natural way.

 It is very good used in more fields of mathematics and teaching mathematics. Translations in 62 Languages (also in Hungarian).  Dynamical mathematical software.  We construct through him points, vectors, segments, lines, conics.... And later dynamically to change them.  On the other hand we can equations and coordinates of the objects to give directly.

 Interactiv java programs  Dynamical demonstrations of different experiments  Possibility of animation  It is possible to give also text for comments  Export to html page

Slovak GeoGebra Institute is a member of the network of the local GeoGebra Institutes. They are acreditate by the International GeoGebra Institute - IGI. International GeoGebra Institute - IGI Main tasks, goals and activities Slovak GeoGebra Institute:  To disseminate information about software GeoGebra and give place for cooperation of their users,  To give help, to organize seminars, to acreditate slovak lectors for seminars about GeoGebra,  To create non-formal community of GeoGebra users,  To support of creating of dynamical teaching materials with help of GeoGebra software,  To create and lead slovak database of teaching materials for non-commercial using,  To support research activities which are connected of using software GeoGebra at all types of schools  To support activities of International GeoGebra Institute and bring some materials in English for International Database  To participate at national and international events about using of the software GeoGebra.

 To create webpage  Possibility to give texts and pictures  Structure such an Wysiwyg editors (What You See Is What You Get ).  Possible to use for different kind of users  Open source editor  Creating webpage without paying of domain
