Breanna Dean, Elijah Knowles and Josh Trammell Algonquians, Athabascans, and Inuit Native Americans

Clothing The Algonquians, Athabascans, and Inuits wore animal skins. They also made goggles made of bones.

Environment The Algonquians, Athabascans, and Inuits lived in the Arctic/ Sub-Arcitc. In this area, there were icebergs, hills, and mountains.

Adaptations Because of the snow, there were no trees that the Algonquians, Athabascans, or Inuits could use for warmness or cooking, so instead they used smokeless oil. Smokeless oil is blubber that the they got from whale or seal fat.

Beliefs/Religion Algonquian, Athabascan and Inuit spoke Athabaskan and Algonican. Believed animals were more powerful than humans. They also believed in reincarnation.

Housing Igloos and houses made of seal and caribou skins is what the Algonquians, Athabascans, and Inuits lived in.

Food The Algonquians, Athabascans, and Inuits ate: Seals Deer Whales Fish Caribou Moose Bear Elk Beaver Mountain Goat

Transportation The Algonquians, Athabascans, and Inuits got from place to place by using a dog sled, kayak, and umiaks. A umiak is similar to a kayak, but it made of animal skin and driftwood. Umiak
