All Rights Reserved 5 Shoper 9 LiveUpdate - Utility  Shoper 9 LiveUpdate utility oTo be installed in order to download and update patches oGets installed during Shoper 9 HO/ POS installation oCan be installed on a machine with or without Shoper 9 installation  Installing Shoper 9 LiveUpdate utility will create two exes on your machine, ShoperLU.exe (for Downloading the patch) and ShoperPU.exe (for updating the patch)  The icons ShoperPatchDownloader and ShoperPatchUpdater will be created on the desktop  Shoper 9 LiveUpdate engine will be self updated during downloading the patch

Once all the activities are ticked, LiveUpdate completed successfully message is displayed.  Click Close.  To view the updation status details, click View Log.

All Rights Reserved 17 Guidelines and best practices  Ensure you download and install the latest LiveUpdate engine  Always use the downloader to download the patches, so that Shoper 9 LiveUpdate engine gets updated automatically  Ensure all Shoper 9 applications and connected clients are closed  Ensure database connectivity is available  Ensure POS Agent is closed during the LiveUpdate process  Compare and check the updated patch and the downloaded patch versions
