Opener Before the bell rings: 1. Take out your DBQ packet. 2. Turn to the last page. 3. Review the rubric. If you were grading this assignment, how many points would you assignment to each page of the DBQ packet? Write a point value on each page of the packet. 4. In the blank space beside the rubric, draw and label the buckets that you would use for this essay.

Opener 2 Before the bell rings: 1. Take out your DBQ packet. 2. At this point in time, how are you planning to answer the question, “China’s One-Child Policy: Was it a Good Idea?” 3. List 3 reasons for your choice. Keep in mind that this may change as you review the documents.

Document A Things to consider: Population Density- Does China have room? Are these numbers a result of the one child policy? Are other factors in effect? What is projected to happen to the population? What drawbacks might there be to reducing the population? Document Bucket?
