Wick Court Farm 2015

Year 4 and 5 had a ‘farmtastic’ time at Wick Court! The week was jam packed with a variety of farm jobs and all children quickly settled into the life of a farmer. There were lots of sad faces when we had to leave! From feeding the lambs to weighing the pigs, the children certainly had their hands full! Other jobs included: visiting the egg farm where we got to hold chickens and sort the eggs; feeding the cows and watching them being milked by a machine and putting the animals away at night. On our last day we had a brilliant time doing different woodland activities that included den building and stories being told around the campfire. It truly was the best week and there were lots of eager faces when our trip for next year was mentioned!
