B. Next, narrow your category to a specific subject matter or topic. C. Then, have it approved by your teacher. D. Remember that your topic or subject matter should be something NEW for most students in the class.

E.You will need the following: E.You will need the following: -1PowerPoint Presentation -Colour, transitions, movement, pics, titles, important words, numbers... -2Length: 3 to 5 minutes -3Draft of all your work -Plan, process, research info. -4USB key & student account

Allotted Time and Due Dates April 5th April 5th – Explanation of assignment, choice of category, choice of subject matter, begin plan. April 6th, 12th, 13th April 6th, 12th, 13th – (Group 1) Work on Research & Powerpoint. April 18th, 19th, 20th April 18th, 19th, 20th – (Group 2) Work on Research & Powerpoint. April 27th April 27th – Presentations due for everyone!

Allotted Time 1 period allotted for research 2 periods allotted for PowerPoint preparation. When group 1 is working on the computers, group 2 will be doing other tasks in class and vice-versa. – Day 1 = Reading Comprehension Test 2, – Day 2 = Grammar Notions and Practice Exercises, – Day 3 = Writing 2

Due Date Presentations begin Tuesday, April 27th, EVERYONE must be ready. – If you are not ready on Tuesday: Name taken down, Call made to your parents indicating that you must present the following day, if not you will be sent home until it is done, Disciplinary profile started or continued -20% for first day late – If you are not ready on Wednesday: -Another -20% for the second day late Sent to the office & not coming back to class until it is done. Volunteers will go first. After that, names will be picked randomly every period.
