William lives in a house with a nanny named Mrs. Philips. Mrs. Philips has been with his family for ten years and is moving back to New England to live with her brother at the end of the month. She had a picture and a pin that she wanted to be buried with. William didn’t want her to leave so he took the pin and picture and hid it in his shoe box without her knowing. She said she had a gift for William and she said she would give it to him the next day. When William got home from school the next day he started walking back and forth then he started running up the stairs and Mrs. Philips said “ Wait I want to be with you when you see the present “ so William stopped and waited for her to catch up to him. When they got to the attic he saw the present he was surprised by what he saw it was a castle. Mrs. Philips said “ Do you want a tour “ William said “ok” Mrs. Philips said “ Lets start with the drawbridge. So she taught him everything about the castle and then let him play with it for a while. His mom was talking to him about the pin and pearl and if he had seen them then his mom said that the person who fixed the furnace probably took them. That night he tiptoed into Mrs. Philips room and put the picture and pin back where they normally where and when he turned around Mrs. Philips was standing at the doorway and then William said I only took them cause I thought you wouldn’t leave without them.

The castle was a good by present. William really liked the present. When she gave him the present she gave him a night with it and she told him to open it when he was alone she said that because it was a tradition. William lay in bed without sleeping. He heard the front door close gently. That’s mom. One more to go,”he whispered to bear, who lay beside him, dressed in Williams old sweatshirt. Williams’s mother was a pediatrician. She had evening office hours so that working parents could bring their children for checkups.

William does gymnastics and likes to read the King Arthur and the Round Table Knights. He likes to play sports with his friends.
