Positive Wellbeing Group Today is our final note on RESILIENCE. Resilience definition: Resilience describes a person’s capacity to cope with changes and challenges and to bounce back during difficult times. The more resilient someone is, the better they are at getting through tough times, and the better their chances at recovering from experiences of adversity and trauma. Today’s Top Tip! S1 S1 Children’s University - 13 th and 14 th April Strathclyde University are offering some activities during the Easter holidays that would be a great way to gain your passport stamps at a Public Learning Destination. Spring Challenge Our colleagues at Kent Children’s University have produced a Spring Challenge series of activities. 24 activities on a worksheet which could earn pupils up to 30 hours of credit. 2. Strathclyde (2hrs) To introduce the concept of digital manufacturing through the use of Computer Aided Graphics software and associated laser as well as vinyl cutters. You will get the chance to create an image on computer in 2 dimensions, cut this out on a laser cutter and enhance this image with the addition of vinyl cut text. 1. “Energy and it’s applications” (2.5hrs) Range of station experiments and activities.
